Thank you...and I just want to add how lovely it is to make friends here...there is an AOL board that I had posted to and all they could do was needle me about what was going to happen to Reuben if he wasn't adoptable (he's going to live with the breeder as her pet), but there was ZERO support for me...which, after reading a bit, became quite evident...they care nothing for each other...just about the pups...as though they hadn't room in their hearts for both...

maybe a bad suggestion but could she sell him with out a guarantee or something? Not sure what a heart murmur would entail for healthcare but maybe????????

victoria: sometimes heart murmurs are nothing to be concerned with, my shih tzu mix bonty has a slight one and he's fine. it makes it very risky for them to be put under anesthesia though and if it's a serious one there's the risk of heart failure and other problems of the heart.

Sending positive thoughts that it is not any thing serious and you get your baby :wave:

Thank you all...the support is just what I've needed. I still have no answer...the breeder hasn't brought the pup back to the vet...which may happen today, or Monday...the waiting is killing me...I've been in tears most of the day and am just beside myself...I want Reuben home!!!

is the pup skyler??? oh man if it's skyler i will be heartbroken i wanted that boy but she wouldn't do a payment plan on him.... or was it that cute blue and white boy from zora and ziggy?

i don't recomend any of the breeders here. i've heard nothing but bad things about the other 2 (mistyporning or something like that and vargas chihuahua's i could be wrong on the names though.) people have come into the grooming shop i work at with chis and i asked where they got them from and the response is you don't want to know.... but they tell me and then they tell me their dealings with them. i only know hear say, i can only speak on chiwi's breeder. and chiwi has bad knees already, had them at 5 months old she's 7 months now.... at 1 she will get another exam on them to see how they are coming along.
