.... i just have one question and couldn't find the answer to it on the other threads, so here goes.

(its about raw btw)

Well im really keen on starting feeding raw as soon as possible - but - i went to the pet shop around 2 months ago and bought 6 to 7 months supply of kibble!! silly i know!! so that means i have around 4 months supply left!!

i was just wondering if you could mix kibble with pre made raw till i use the kibble up then switch totally to raw (like chicken wings etc...)

i was planning on getting this:

http://naturesmenu.co.uk/products/Frozen_Complete_Blocks/Frozen_Complete_Bocks/

or this:

http://www.naturalinstinct.com/order.php

The kibble i have is:

http://www.royalcanin.co.uk/my_pet/dog_products/breed_health_nutrition/cavalier_king_charles.aspx (for my cavalier)

http://www.royalcanin.co.uk/my_pet/dog_products/breed_health_nutrition/chihuahua.aspx (for 3 of my chis)

http://www.royalcanin.co.uk/my_pet/dog_products/size_health_nutrition/mini_dogs/mini_light.aspx (for one of my chis)

would this be a good idea or a bad idea?

any help much appreciated

thanks in advance

:)

You really shouldn't.
Some people insist on doing it, so if you do feed them at separate meals far spread out (IE Breakfast and Diner). The reason for this is that they digest at very different speeds, and its not good to have kibble sitting around in the stomach while you've got quantities of other things coming in and out.
I say either switch soon and donate your remaining kibble to a shelter or something, or finish out your kibble and switch in a few months.
