I am already looking for a puppy for such a long time :(
I didn’t knew it’s so hard to find a normal puppy in Israel.
And I wanna get my baby girl so bad.

So now there is 2 possible girls.
I just saw them yesterday.
And I would like to hear a honest opinion about them from a breeders.

First girl:
Daddy apple head, but mother dear head :( She is 6 weeks old now, weight : 0.95lbs
I am not sure about her head…does she will be dear head like her mother or apple?
This is pics of her:

Second girl
She is 3 month old, very tinny, weight only 1.54 lbs
Mother apple head and daddy is a dear head, lol

For the first girl the owner want 1000$, for the second girl 1100$
( it’s suck because I have a feeling that the chis are pet class and not show class, so the price is defiantly not right, but there is nothing I can do….this is Israel, grrrr).

And another thing:
First girl is very shy and gentle.
She was afraid of me, but she sit in my laps.
Second girl is very active and can’t sit even for a moment.
So I prefer the first girl personality.

The first one's nose looks a bit shorter to me, so I think she's got the best chance of having an apple head.
I would prefer the first girl too. But they are both adorable ;)

Thanks :)

But maybe this is because the first girl is only 6 weeks and the second one is 13 weeks, so it’s more easy to see.

both females are probably going to be too small for breeding purposes (or at least SAFE breeding),

the first females probably going to be around 3 1/2-4lbs full grown, she does however have a fairly nice head but her ears seem a little small. its difficult to tell how her stop and muzle ar going to grow untill shes about 12 weeks.

the second one is very much too tiny for breeding purposes her heads a little more in the developed stage and truth be told it looks like her stops not quite defined enough for show purposes...

if your just interested in a pet either woudl be great, if your looking to show but not breed the red and white (first) female would be my pick. but that second one is WAY too small for breeding (she might not even reach show weight (3-6lbs)) and the second female breeding would be risky, i personally would NEVER breed any female under 4 1/2lbs, even if the male was MUCH smaller...under 4 1/2 lbs the risks increase EXTREEMLY QUICKLY...

but yeha if i was given pick of those id go for the first girl and socilize alot!

Thank you very much.

And about socialize ..do you think it can be a problem that the girl are very shy?
Her brother (the long hear on the pic), are a dominant in the litter, he is very active, totally opposite from her.

It's very important to me to have a cuddly, affectionate girl.
I even prefer needle one and not independent.
If she is so shy, it can be a problem?

i dont think itll be a real problem...
if you get her make sure you expose her to lots of things and people, and it shouldnt cause any problems, shell very likely be a very cuddly baby, but its always best to socilize ANY dog just to make sure there well rounded adults. but i realy woulndt worry, vixie was aparently the "shy" one in her litter, and shes a very well rounded young lady who loves everyone and is a real snuggle bug!

I hope so.
I just heard from one lady who bought a very shy chihuahua, and she told me it was totally mess...chi was to independent, and didn't liked even the owners, she always prefer to be by her self.
This is a personality, and socialization will not help here.
This is my only fear.
I wanna my girl to be very close to me :)

actually most issues with shyness are stemmed from a lack of early socilization. their actual personality (how much they like to cuddle) is a personality trait, but the fact that you stated about the first girl being a little shy at first but calm when sat on your lap would indicate a little girl whos going to be a mommas girl, and is very normal for a young pup, especially one with a very dominant sibling.
id take a wild guess and say that the woman with the shy chihuahua either got it from a backyard breeder who didnt do the proper socilizeation in the early weeks or that she didnt recive any socilization or training in the first few weeks home...or even both.

i personally wouldnt worry, ive yet to meet a chi who wastn at least a little clingy with their people.

I agree that the first one has the better potential to be closer to standard. Her nose is shorter and her head seems rounder.

They are both super cute though :thumbright:

Thanks a lot for all the replays.

I asked also 2 Russian breeders, they both told me that even the first girl is no show potential, and only pet quality, and she will not be close to the standard.
So I guess I am not going to pay 1000$ for a pet, it’s just unfair.
But everyone admitted that the first girl is better than the second one 

This is the last one I can chouse from:
(her daddy is from USA, hehe).

Or maybe i will just bring one from Russia.

OMG the first one is sooo cute! Good luck!
hehe
What about the last one?
From what i understand the last female much more closer to standard than the first one.
(first one - possibility of a longer face and her ears to small).

When I got my Junie she was really shy and withdrawn so as soon as it was safe I took her everywhere and I let anyone (generally family and always someone I felt was safe) hold her. Now she is a little social butterfly but she is still so sweet and cuddly! She is my little angel:)

If you want that the dog loved only you , has been close to you and adhered only to you "]- it was necessary to give it many time and attention, instead of to throw out it to your parents each time when at you there is no
time!!and while her nose is nice and short theres not much of a stop (the angle between the head and muzzle) of all of them id say the very first female would be the closest to show quality and healthiest looking from the pictures.
