lolz I so think lil Clyde looks like a mini pit bull hehehe <3
aww no they came from a good home in all but their owner was unable to take care of them in the last few days of her being here.Lolz I had to tether them to take a quick pick we live on a acre so it was impossible to get them photoed beings they are puppies and quick in all heheBless you!! They look like they lived on a tether? Lots of work ahead of you. Are they friendly? Looks like a blue and a tan one? Good luck with them. Sue
They have really great temperaments not aggressive at all if anything too shy.If Anyone moves at them fast they kinda jerk back? But the neighbors did have to feed them allot and let them out when their owner was ill in the hospital so I don't know if they were mean to them or not or if the owner was unkind or if they are just not socialized, but I did bring them to the beach and they loved it so much!would shake when a new comer came up to greet them, but they really had a blast and I could see them coming out of their lil shell and their personalities<3They dont have any angry looking skin or puss or scratches , scab's Thank God! as i was ready to have my sister foster my dogs for me.I was not going to leave them alone in their owners houseAwww they are too sweet! Yes both are blues. Could be the color dilution alopecia that many blues get; but could also be a sign of a nutritional deficiency also. As long as they don't seem to have any actual skin irritation (or hair loss is spreading) I'd just put them on a good grain-free food and see if there are improvements. If not, it's pretty safe to say it's just genetics. I don't think their ears will stand up either, at 18 months. But they look cute this way. They're both deer heads to me, as their stops have a pretty wide angle.
I think both look like pit bull puppies lol! How is their temperament? Were they treated well at their last home? Thanks for taking these guys in!!
I see pit bull too! but they are so small Bonnie is 3-4 pounds and Clyde is about 5-6 pounds.I had a women come up to me while i was socializing them on the beach and she said she had a whippet and i asked if they looked like whippets and she said it could be with the gray/blue coats they have! but they don't have the small face like whippets?Ive been calling them my lovie mini pits,But they dont act like a pit bull at all. They're both cute. Thank you for rescuing them. Blues do tend to have thinner coats sometimes. My blue fawn has no fur from his chin to his tail underneath and just fuzz on his head. My blue and tan just has fuzz on his head, but fur all over him. The fuzz feels like velvet. They are definately mixed with something, at their age, their ears wont pop up. And their head shape is deer shape. Clyde looks more chi while Bonnie looks like she has some hound or pit bull in her. But both are beautiful and once you get them de-flead and socialized, they will make you some wonderful pets. Best of luck.
They do I get so many comments on them about if they are pit puppies and what are they.I've even wondered if they are some kinda hairless dog mix maybe? The neighbors that took care of them did say they had a bad bad flea infestation thought..I think they look UNIQUE and beautiful! I bet you many people would ask you about them and their special looks. Are you going to keep them?
Good luck!
