I'm confused

Ok so both the girls have been on rc for a wile now but I have been reading threads and I'm confused.
Ziwipeak seems to be very popular. Thing is is this food like kibble or is it actual meat.
I have to get it shipped in so I thought I would make sure this is a good food.
When I change the girls will it make them ill.
Is this the best food I could feed my girls.
And last what flavor should I try first
Venison
Lamb
Fish & venison
Thanks guys

I believe it is one of the best foods! It's like a jerky that you feed right out of the bag. I buy the big bag and take some out, put in ziplock bag & freeze the rest to keep it fresh. It's freeze-dried raw meat. It is a complete meal that you don't have to add nothing to. It will not make them sick to switch immediately unless they have sensitive stomachs. I alternate between Honest Kitchen and ZP. My chi loves it. You have to be careful that you don't set the ZP in a place where it can get moist as it can become moldy. I haven't had this problem.
As far as flavor, you know what your dogs like, so choose which you think is best, then next time you can try a different flavor. Ziwi is a fantastic treat to dogs, but it has all the important ingrediants they need.
Thank you for that. Also is this really just as good as giving them say a raw chicken or pure raw meats. Is it as good for them.
Zp seems to be alot easyer then say sawing at a chicken yourself

No, not as good as long as you know exactly where your raw meat is coming from (ex. Organic, free-roaming). I believe real raw meat is the best way to go, but I personally don't want to deal with it on that level. So I use ZW & The Honest Kitchen. But what I do with THK, is if I find discounted meat at the grocery store, & I buy chicken livers, I just lightly cook them and add to the HK. I don't have to as I buy THK with dehydrated raw meat already in it, but I like the added protein, plus it makes THK go further as our budget is tight.
Hi if u want to try it u can order a trial size bag from petplanet.co.uk that's what we did & Poppy loved it so we are Ziwipeak converts!

Wow really thank you. I just want to feed the girls the best
So it's between zp or plain raw I think I'm going to trile a bag and see how they like it. Thanks
Also. (sorry to be a pain)
Say I wanted to feed pure raw. I gather most people feed around 5 oz a day of raw meat but how many times a day do you feed them.
I always thought that you can feed dogs chicken bones, so is it ok to feed raw bones to dogs.
Is there any part of any meat you should stay away from.
What are the most popular meats to use.
What are the easiest meats for me to do (as I'm a veggie lol)
How much raw meat each dog gets depends on their weight and how they maintain it. For Spacely, going by the guidelines, he would get 3 oz a day. He lost weight on 3 oz so he eats closer to 5 oz a day.

I generally feed him twice a day but he has been fed once a day with no problem. He is an adult dog.

Raw bones are fine, cooked bones are not. Spacely, with his missing teeth and overshot jaw, has no problems crunching bones. I do take a mallet and smash larger bones for him.

A wide variety of meat is available to try! Beef, chicken, pork, lamb, pheasant, rabbit, venison, fish, kangaroo, bison, goat, emu, ostrich.....pretty much anything. My two will eat anything. You can order more exotic meats or check what is in your local shops. I am not familiar with what may or may not be available in the UK. Some people feed guinea pigs and mice as well. I have given my larger dog shark, she ate it.

Easiest meat would be something prepackaged so you minimize handling, I suppose. You can get ground meat patties that make it easier. Parts to stay away from.....organ meat is very rich so if you give some, give small amounts.

Ziwipeak is a quality food that many dogs seem to relish. My totally raw fed girl snarfed it down when I had some when Spacely first joined us. They prefer raw though.
