What if my chi's don't remember me! I have not seen them in 3 months. It's eating me up inside. I can't help thinking about it. Am I just paranoid?

My family's Shih Tzu Brownie went to live with my grandmother in 2008. I came to visit 6 months later. He was elated to see me! He only freaks out like that when me, my mother, or my sister visit. He remembers us for sure.

I am sure Tyler and Penelope will remember you and be ecstatic to see you.

They will remember you ;) don't worry. When my parents divorced my dad kept five of our ten huskies (my mom and I could have none because we moved to a apartment where pets were banned). I was really bonded to two of them Gojo and Sonic and I didn't see them for two years after the divorce. But when I finally visited my dad those two dogs ran me and kissed me from head to toe something they did since they were pups and they were 8 year old dogs who could care less about any other person in the world.

So I would say that your two will definitely remember their "mom".

My parents moved to LA three years ago and took their three dogs and cat with them. Whenever I go visit, I am hugged by their pit bull, Champ, even though he was only 4 months old when they moved. He still remembers me and my kids and is sooo happy to see us. The other two remember us, too, even their cat, who is usaully very aloof, will come up to me to be petted since I was the one that found him as a baby and rescued him and gave him to my parents. Your dogs will deffinately remember you.
