My tip is: take LOADS of pictures :D, eventually there will be some good ones!

Rocky tends to turn his head away as soon as I take out the camera. Can be sooo fustrating. But I just won't give up and take loads of pics and some will turn out quite well. Sometimes it helps to make him excited or even waving a treat infront of him LOL.

Cosmo loved having his picture taken. I think it started with all the treats I gave him at the begining to get his picture. If he saw you with the camera he would start barking at you. This was before the digital cameras and you couldn't fool him with a 'click' got your picture. Just takes practice and time.

I use treats or toys sometimes. Mostly I make noises that they don't normally hear. It makes their ears go huge and turn their heads and do weird things lol. If anyone heard me making said noises they might cart me off to the looneybin though lol. Also taking lots of pics as there is usually one that will turn out.

The pics of Taco that I have, were taken by his breeder and she has a really professional camera and setup. However when I take pictures of him, he is always moving and cant get him to sit still. Treats don't help because he goes crazy lol

I have the same problem. When I reach for the camer they stop playing and come up to me as if "ooh what have u got!" lol. Angel gets so excited - he cant sit still! If he sees me reach for a treat will start going through all the tricks he knows! Kind of cute, but frustrating!

I just make all sorts of weird noises to get them to perk up there ears and take tons of shots and usually only a few turn out. To get the picture of each of them in my siggy I ended up taking 85 shots of them while they were outside playing that day and only maybe 10 were okay and around 5 were good. But, they were running around a lot so that made it difficult.

I take a lot of pictures, use the zoom lens, and don't get in their face. If I get too close, I get the ears back and face turning. I still have a few that won't give me a good picture no matter what, those I have to really catch them when they are focused on something else. For the pictures of each individual dog I just posted, I had to take about 2,000 pictures all together, no lie, to get the few I posted. It takes patience and a good eye and a fast shutter. My big camera is better for taking poses as its shutter speed is amazing. My everyday camera makes it so I miss a lot.

Ahhhh thanks ladies for your tips I'll definitely be putting them into practice....I get the idea that I'll basically have to be prepared to act silly enough that t completely confuses/amuses them and clear all the memory out of my camera so I can take hundreds to whittle them down lol My two know how to sit and lay but they tend to run off once they have the treat LOL!! Or fight me for it lol

I have to make sure shes not super hyper. If she is I let her run for a while and play some ball. Once she calmed down but not too tired. I can usually pose her in a position tell her to stay and she will. But I do have some bad days too. Afterwards I give her tons of praise, which means I'm usually soaked from kisses.

I use strange words something they don't know that way they cock their heads to the side lol

Some things I have used: "do you want a Christmas card" "do you like candy" etc hahah if they won't look at the camera I use "do you want to see papa" makes them pose very cute! You gotta just be creative and use what works for them!
