I have a 5 year old Himalyan, Taji. He does fine around dogs, always has. We socialized him very well and our friends are always bringing their dogs over to play with our cat. Last night, we brought home our 8 week old chi, Mia. We kept them separated for Mia's comfort for the night. A bit ago, we brought Taji in an introduced them, Taji was cool with it, just kinda checking her out and staring. No sniffing, just staring. Poor Mia was so scared. She was shaking and standoffish. I believe this was her first time seeing any other animal besides mom and her litter mates. What can I do to help this be easier for the both of them and hopefully even have them bond eventually?

They should be fine together but if you have to go out I would separate them until you are certain there won't be any trouble lol.

Its a big step for her going to a new home with new people and a new older brother.
