Hi there! We just adopted/rescued our first chi baby and I wanted to share him with you all.
From what I've been told, he was living in puppy mill conditions. Only being let our of his crate to breed. He only has three teeth, has hair missing in patches all over him and he was infested with fleas...I'm thinking the hair loss is from constant scratching. Poor little guy. He seemed very scared and exhausted when I picked him up.
We had him treated for the fleas and currently have him on food that is good for his skin and coat. He seems to be coming out of his shell more each day and is proving to be a true lover!! Just what I was looking for=)
He has yet to bark, and constantly makes pig noises...oinking, snorting, and grunting, even in his sleep. SOO cute! We are thinking of naming him Wilbur, after the pig on Charlotte's Web.
Anyway, here are a few pics of Wilbur=) I look forward to meeting others on the site=)
