When we first got Zeus, he would go in the cat box and have a feast, but then I moved the litter box in an unused bathroom with a baby gate and that fixed everything. I even put the cat food in the bathroom so Zeus wouldn't munch on that either. Since we've moved to VA, I have no baby gates up and Zeus has shown zero interest in the litter box.. thank goodness!

I am changing the cat boxes. :( I have however been tested for toxoplasmosis (standard test if you're pregnant and have cats) and it was negative with this pregnancy as well as my first child. I do use extra caution though. I scoop the boxes once a day, don't inhale, then thoroughly wash my hands with antibacterial soap and hot water. I wish my husband would do the cat boxes, but I'm lucky that he tolerates the cats like his does.
