Yes, she will stay close when I am in the yard but has learned to walk well on a leash when we walk. When I first got her, she really didnt care for the leash. When in the yard she sort of knows her boundaries. My neighbor has a dog that will run all over if not on a leash. I enjoy that she can hang out with me when I am outside and still have some freedom to move about.
