leaving Gadget home...

We went to Walmart and left Gadget home... he was not a hapy camper when we left... My manager/neighbor came over tonight and asked if we left him home... We said yes.. we went to Wlamart and didn't want him to get too hot in the car... Well, she said he barked and barked... I guess she was complaining...

Well, she is the neighbor that has Gadget's mom and dad... They are always barking.... I mean they bark at everything and everybody that goes by.. they have the first rv site int he park so they see everybody coming and going and the laundry room and bathrooms are right across the park road from thema nd they bark everytime they see someone in the laundry room...

I just have to vent because I can't believe she would come over and say that to us when we never let Gadget keep bark when he starts and he never barks at just everybody and everything... I would say he doesn't bark a 10th of what they bark... why is she complaining?

We can sit here and count the number of times a day that gadget will bark on one hand.... He barks when Mark comes home in the evenings and if he is outside he will bark when my neighbor across from us comes home because he knows he will come over and talk to gadget... hehehehe

I can count the hours that his mom and dad bark... I know one thing funny about it... when Gadget here's them bark he will not join in and if he is barking and they start barking he will stop...

:? That's not really nice. I would just ignore them, and give her the benefit of the doubt that she was in a bad mood. Didn't you dog sit for her too?

You make a very good point and maybe she was not in a very good mood and tried to say it as nice as possible or maybe,she was being like every mother..she was being a bit biased.

By that, I mean, for instance...my chi Britney...my brother says how Everyone loves her and thinks she cute and then he'll make a comment (I make them too!) how my aunt & uncle's chihuahua Chewie isn't the most Attractive dog and how his huge ears are all floppy and they're only straight up when he lies on his back...anyways, it's bias.

Your neighbor (doesn't matter if they're Gadget's mama and daddy), doesn't have too much of a problem if Her Own dogs bark but when it's someone else's..THAN it's a problem.

This might not be the case..but I just thought I'd share

Oh that is a big peeve of mine. I have had neighbors like that before. Their big outdoor dogs bark non-stop all day and all night. I am supposed to be perfectly happy with that. My little pup makes the tiniest peep and I am being a nuisance. :?

I will never understand some people. :roll:

I don't know why she was saying this... It isn't like I leave him all the time... I think this is the third time I left him totally by himself since we have had him....
