I think it's the peanut butter. I got the small sized Kong that fits in your hand when closed almost, and I bought the can of peanut butter treat (heard dogs love pb!) but when we gave it to her when we left the house, it made her poop in her crate Haru is doing pretty well with house training, but sometimes when we're not watching she still goes on the pee pad, which is better than the floor! We just want to train her for outside now.

So I talked to people about it and they say peanut butter might make the dogs poop? Has there been a similar situation with anyone's dogs? Just in general after having peanut butter they might need to go faster than they normally digest? I've been filling it with less from now on.

I don't know about pb because I am highly allergic, so Toby doesn't get it. We use the cheese stuff and haven't had a problem.

I give p butter to my dogs all the time. Kong stuffed and frozen,(for the sheltie) pills given in p.butter and jusst a tiny treat for good behavior occasionally. Never made mine poop. Maybe too much p.butter? a lot of fat in it!! Sue

uh oh lol. i try to only give those zuke peanutbutter treats lol. a big mix of foodie and treats like that are bound to make pups go when they dont wanna

Could be anything, coincidence, fat amount, allergy causing GI upset. I would chalk it up to learning how your puppy works and give her the same thing but when you are home.

Maybe she just needed to go? Was she in there for a long time? I give mine kong toys with peanut butter and they don't seem to need to go more.
