She sleeps in it every night. I thought if I crated her at night and she got used to being in there the separation anxiety would be less when we leave. She cried the first night a bit so I got my pillow and blanket and layed beside the cage (on the hardwood floor lol), while my husband snored on the nice comfy bed. The next day I went and bought the bumper pads, re-invented them, put them in and she goes in every night after her last outside trip without a peep. She goes in there during the day on her own. It has done nothing for her separation anxiety though.
