Anyone ever had a problem with a limping chi?! I am certified for my emt courses and it doesn't appear that there is anything broken. I am not sure if he got into a fight with the cat and she got a claw into him or what. It appears that the top part of the foot and if I squeeze the sides bothers him; the bottom does not.

Is it common they they twist or hurt themselves jumping ? He hasn't jumped anywhere that I know of...

Could just be a pulled muscle, bruise or a sprain too. My hound Gibbs is known for spraining his foot as he is so clumsy.
