August, 8 months old, male purebred chi, 4.5 pounds, snow white, very cuddly, very quiet and a bit afraid of people.
We got him last week.

Yes, we were using a 50mm 1.4 on a Canon 5D Mark II body. What a beautiful lens! Love the bokeh!
And yes, August is very cuddly, which makes for great photo moments )

So cute!!! I love his precious face!! I saw that you were using a 50 mm lens - I was going to ask that question - wonderful background blur. I currently have a 18 - 55mm and a 50 -200 mm. Can't achieve that kind of bokeh on my 18 - 55 mm, have been considering getting a 50 mm, what would you suggest? Worth it? You can PM me, not sure if we're allowed to go "off topic" on the forum LOL
