Such a gorgeous Chi mix. Dumped at the shelter. You can see how petite he is compared to laying with a bigger dog in last pic. I sure hope he gets a great home soon!

I'm always so shocked when I see the amount of chihuahuas abandoned in America through the posts on here. Are they really overbred? Does the same happen with other breeds too? Would be really unusual for chihuahuas to be abandoned/rejected/given up in England. I'm always so glad to read about the work you guys do for the abandoned chis. xxx

Ditto for Australia, you may see crossbred Chi's in shelters and any number of other "Heinz 57 Varieties" as they're called here, but rarely purebred anything - that goes for most breeds, except for the breeds most consider aggro, they get a few of them - they get snapped up by the tough 'ol bogans pretty darn quick though.
