Greetings everyone!

I am looking to buy a low cost chihuahua or chihuahua mix for my 14 year old daughter and I.

I am looking to spend around $300.00 or less for a cute lil pup and will gladly pay for shipping to Boston Logan Airport.

I have had many years expierence with dogs,(dobermans, springer spaniels, dalmations,) and grew up with chihuahuas in my home as a small girl.

My daughter and I feel *lost* without a dog in our lives, and would once again love to own a pup!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you considered chihuahua rescues? Here are just a few rescues that serve the New England area:

I just checked http://www.chihuahua-rescue.com and there are currently no chis in the New England area but you can keep checking.

Also, http://www.petfinder.org is a great place to find rescues. You can do an extensive search in your region for a specific breed and age.

Also, http://www.yankeechihuahuas.org/ is a chi rescue located in New Hampshire that only deals in New England adoptions of rescues... I looked at the site, they have a few pups available.

http://www.chihuahuarescue.go.cc/: these guys are in MD.

http://www.waggytailrescue.org/: out of NYC.

Good luck!! :D

I can't help it but by looking at your Copper. He's such a handsome little guy! I want one like him! So cute! ;)

Rescue is a great idea because your daughter is older. Almost all shelters do not adopt out to family's with children but your daughter is older. And if you want to spend around $300, that'll get you a chi and all the stuff he or she needs.

There are none like him. :) He's a one-of-a-kind.
