I bought myself a new female pup about 3 weeks ago.
At the moment I took her home she was 15 weeks. She still had some floppy ears so I decided to tape them.
I really like to show and breed her, her bloodline is filled with champions, great champions and top producers. So her ears going up is really important for me.

I got her ears out of the tape for 3 days and they are still standing.:toothy8:
Sometimes one goes down for a few minutes, and then up again!

Really happy her ears seem to get "the idea"
Hope it will stay like this when she is gonna change her teeth.

Here she is, my lovely blond girl. She really has the X-factor:D.
all my friends and family felt in love with her, she is so sweet, gentle and full of love!!

IHere is a pic from the breeder, made a few days before I picked her up:

and here she is today, pics are a little off, they are made with my boyfriends camera, and i still don;t get it to work fine...

She is beautiful! Didn't you keep a couple from your litter you just had? How do they like her?
I just kept 1 female from my own litter.
Dixie likes the little pup, but sometimes she plays a little rough... but besides that, they all like each other!

I hope they stay up...sometimes after taping they stay up for a day & then flop and you have to retape for a while longer. Hope they stay up for you. :) Can I ask what breeder you got her from?

Dixie is beautiful! Especially with her ears up.

Your Dixie and my Winnie should be boyfriend and girlfriend! He's a little cream cutie pie and his sire and grandsire are both Australian Grand Champions and on him mum's side his half sister justgot her championship. He is also having ear issues, at 17 weeks he has the left one up 90% of the time but the right one is only up about 10% of the time. The breeder assures me that they will go up so i'm anxiously waiting

I know they can go floppy again.
I taped her ears, and now after 10 days one is still standing, the other one is going up and down, so I taped that ear again.

She comes from a dutch breeder named Ultimate glorys.

His ears probably should go up, but if he iss 17 weeks I would not risk it and tape the ears. Did he already changed all his teeth?
If the ears are not up after teething, they probably won't go up anyways....

And for Dixie, if I'm gonna breed her I would like a nice longcoat, even better a chocolate longcoat stud for her! Her daddy is a choc longcoat, mom a black/tan smoothcoat, which carries the choco genes. She was out a litter of three, one smoothcoat black/tan boy, one choco smoothcoat boy, and my Dixie.

You could try her on some vitamin c powder if you can, that can really help with ear cartilage. About 1/8-1/4 teaspoon a day split between her two meals :) I have always found that to be every bit as effective as taping/effective at making the tape job 'final' lol.

Where do you get the vitamin c powder? Is it one for people? I might try that for Winnie along with the gelatin powder. He's still teething but he's 17 weeks now and still only has one ear up, the other one pops up occasionally but only for a few minutes - he's teasing me with it!
