It's one of the only films I've ever cried at. Literally sobbing my eyes out. We were bought the DVD for Xmas but I still haven't watched it.

I did, however, see The Dog Whisperer episode where Caeser worked the family who had Marley and their new dog.

I honestly didn't like the movie at all. I mean really could the people be any worse dog owners? Any less responsible?? Their "attempts" at training were so half-hearted... you coulda left the dog with me for a week and I (who by the way am not any expert!) would have found proper ways to train the dog... and put it on a raw diet where it would've never gotten sick and died as early as it did. =P That's right darnit... just because you're crazy emotional doesn't mean you're a good dog parent.

Not exactly in those words, that's what Ceaser told them (except for any diet recs). I think they are alot better after he got through with them!

Never.again. as a dog lover I just cannot watch this movie again I bawl like a baby. Bijoux likes it though she's like a guy, comes up to comfort and cuddle with me so she get some extra attention mwa ha ha

My Mom and (2) boys who were about 20 at the time cried their eyes out. I can't watch it we have owned the dvd for awhile now. Never watched Old Yeller either. ET as a matter of fact I remember going to the movies at about age 10 ~ cried like a baby so when the boys were old enough to watch it they had to watch it at Grandma's ~ I banned it from the house, lol. Not even real thrilled when they tease Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer. Some movies I just have to avoid and this was one of them.

My Mom said without a doubt it's the worst movie for a dog lover, ever.
