Oh no she's not my only pet.
I also have......
Morrison- 3 year old male Lab/Beagle/Basset. He's so gentle, lazy, and great lol. I will have to post pics of him in the non Chi section.
Honey- 8 year old 5 lb (she is actually overweight) female Pomeranian. She is a recent addition. Our neighbors owned her for 7 years and just kept her in their basement with no attention/affection. I didn't even know about her until recently. She was so flea infested and they didn't want her around their newborn baby (apparantly their house is still flea infested haha). The day I got her I trimmed all her hair off (she was so infested it had to be done), gave her 3 baths in Dawn, and treated her with Frontline. So her fleas were gone within 3 hours haha. I then got her vet checked and vaccinated (her owners couldn't remember if she ever had been vaccinated

). She is doing much MUCH better now and is totally spoiled.
I also lost two other dogs over the last two years. One to cancer (yellow Labrador) and one to old age (American Cocker Spaniel). I also have fostered a Beagle and two Toy Fox Terrier mixes since the new year.
Other than dogs I also have three Domestic Shorthair cats. Wicked (female Tortie), Smidgeon (male grey tabby), and Emmet (white with grey tabby spots). All dog lovers and mellow lovebugs.
Two pet female fancy rats. They are old ladies though (over 2 years old) their names are Fiesta and Carnivale. They are siblings and I have had them since they were 8 week old babies. They have a big two level cage but are also allowed to free range in "their room" lol and enjoy outside time. They have a special bond with Morrison. When I let them out of their cage and he is in their room they will run circles around him, bouncing wanting to play. He play bows and then lays and they crawl all over him. Lol it's quite cute actually they have loved him since they were tiny. And he is very very gentle with them.
And last but not least lol. I have 6 city chickens in a coop in my backyard. Three rescued white Silkie hens (Rainbow, Sally, and Tundra) and three Red Stars I raised since they were day old chicks, they are "pullets" (young hens) named Ruby, Squeaker, and Blondie.
The Chi we are adopting is a 4 year old brown and white female. She was adopted from a private small dog rescue years ago she was a puppymill rescue who had just had pups. Her recent owner has to move and cannot take her with her so she returned her to the rescue. My friend from the rescue called me up and asked if I would be willing to foster or adopt "Suzi" (I think I will change her name). I work from home and can devote alot of time and attention to my dogs. And I am used to having four dogs in my home. So I said of course lol. I havent got to meet her in person just yet but she is a very very sweet girl who sounds like she will fit in well. I pick her up friday from Southern Ohio.
Lol wow that was a long post :toothy8:
