Day 1:

I was driving home from a convention in Chattanooga.

Somewhere between Dixon, TN and the Buffalo River (Exit 140-something) ,I saw this little white shape heading towards the interstate.

I pulled over and crouched down, making various excited noises, trying desperately to get this tiny dog to come to me.

It worked. Skin and bones, she was, a little chihuahua. She was wet, and shaken, and with no civilization in sight, I put her in my passenger seat and brought her home.

Tommorrow, she goes to the vet, but today, my view on Chihuahuas is forever changed.

I'm so glad you rescued her!! But I bet she is LOST. Have her scanned for a microchip and start advertising her to see if you can find her home!!! It would be very rare (almost unthinkable) for someone to abandon a tiny chi like that. I'm guessing she belongs to someone! Who is probably desperate for her return!!!
