Hello!

I am moving house in a week so I've got to start packing this place! I live in a small flat and am moving to another flat. I just wondered if anyone had any tips/advice on how my baby will be? She uses her pads well now so will she continue using them in the new place when we get there?? Or will I have to train her all over again!? Its a ground floor flat but no outside garden so she'll continue to toilet inside like now!
I'm a bit worried about the whole thing because I've got her into a good routine here eg. bedtime crate, puppy pads, chewing etc and I'm hoping it will just continue the same in the new home....? :D

Thanks..... Lucie & Lola

This sounds gross, but take a pad that she's peed on already, pack it neatly, and put it out immediately when you get there. She will recognize her own scent and it will help her adjust. Also, avoid leaving her alone there for the first few days so that you can watch how she responds and make sure you catch any mistakes or territorial behavior.
BRAVO 8) ilovesadie because that is great advise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It makes perfect sence cause they need to smell there self.

GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND YOUR BABY AND HOPE YA LOVE YOUR NEW PAD! I'M SURE EVERYTHING WILL BE JUST FINE.
Taking a used pad is the way to go and just continue with your regular routine.
I dont think it so gross lol when house training if they poo or piddle in the house i take it and put it on the paper or pad then clean up where they messed. it is going to be an adjustment for all but things will fall into place. I alsways start mine off in the kitchen so i dont have to worry about shampooing carpet or stains. once they have the potti down then they can go to living room if they still have potty down then they can go to bedrooms but my chis rarely go in there i try to keep them where I am hoenstly theonly one that has free roam Is Daytona. Lady is small so i worry about loosing her amongst my kids stuff and in a blanket that i am going to toss in the washer. lol. Sturgis he is on probation right now he can be in the living room or kitchen. Actually I prefer them to be in the rooms closest to me cuz i love watching them sleeping, laying, looking lol
