Being pack animals my 4 year old 3 lb female chi was always with my 15 yr old male chi
He now sleeps most of the time so I believe she feels lonely and is developing separation issues
Idk if it’s exactly anxiety but when she sees me getting ready to go out she starts crying
wanting to get into the room I keep her bag (which she knows she goes in when I take her anywhere )
She’s not destructive just cries a lot and it breaks my heart because she’s a really good girl
Any ideas how to help her ??

I was told NOT to pet them or cuddle them when you get ready to go out.... just leave....I was conditioning him to cry b/c I was giving him attention before I left them
