Is it normal for chihuahua puppies to shake violently when in unfamiliar territory? I gave my chi a bath (he is 9 weeks old) and he was shaking so badly I gave him some nutrical just in case. If my mom wants to hold him he starts shaking, he even shakes when I take him into the next room. He only wants to be beside me and does not seem to enjoy leaving my room. Should I coax him with treats? I have never had a dog that shakes.

Oh its normal for them to shake, they shake when their cold, sad, excited, happy, hungry, scared a whole host of reasons good and bad.

He is a baby a proper baby so going into a new room is a really scary thing for him. I confined Daisy to one room only for the first month (other than coming to my room at night) when i finally took her out into the kitchen she got diarrohea instantly... so i went back to bit by bit. He just needs to be socialised a lot.. where did you get him?

I live in Germany and I got him from a hobby breeder. I cant really socialise him until he gets his shots. When you say socialise do I just take him for walks and introduce him to people and give him treats?

Chi's and shaking go hand in hand! Don't be worried :)
My vet said its fine to walk your dog and take him out as long as he is not near unknown dogs (vaccine status)
