just wanted to introduce my entire crew.
this is meow-meow. I got her when she was only 2 1/2 wks. she was saved from being tossed in the parking lot at work. for the first 6 months of her life, she was on 2 medications because she couldn't poop. she is now a healthy, happy 2 yr old.
Day she turned up at my work:

this next one is stumps. she came to us last August at the age of 4 months. at birth, her mom ate part of both of her back legs. she was never taken to the vet for shots, spay, or her eaten off feet. she was only 2 pounds when she came to us. her growth was stunted due to pain. by the time she was 5 months, her first hind leg was amputated (tried 1 month of antibiotics with no success for infected stump), within 6 wks after operation, she was completely up to date in weight and size for a kitten of her age. soon after, her other back leg was having issues. this past February we finally had to have that one removed also. please don't feel sorry for her. she can do anything any other cat can do except jump on the kitchen counters. she loves to chase the other animals around the home when not in her chair.

this is Paris sitting with her 13 year old brother who had to be helped to the bridge back in January due to a stroke. she is my service dog. she can't work right now until I can get the money to get both knees fixed (at the same time). she will be 4 next month (this was 1 month after we got her @ 6 1/2 months):

and just so she dosnt feel left out, this is Princess. we got her 2 days after we lost Paris's brother. Paris was having a very hard time, so even though I wasn't ready for a new dog, she was. Princess was 11 months when she came to our home. Paris decided that she was the one. they have been very close ever since. Princess came to us from her 3rd home (we her 4th) in 11 months. she didn't know what it meant to be out of a kennel. the owners admitted she wasn't socialized with people or animals. she wasn't aggressive, just very fearful. she is another one who had not been vaccinated or spayed. that was completed by feb. socialization had then started. with socialization came trouble. we almost lost her due to a hypoglycemic attack. she now eats several meals a day, and has to take 2-3 naps daily. she is classified as hunting dog hypoglycemia due to her energy level. all blood tests came back perfect. she still has a way to go, but she is much better with strangers and other animals. now for pictures:
The day she arrived. she refused to leave the corner:

Aww Sheila, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful pack with us, they are
all so lovely. Thank you for taking in pets in need, you have a big heart, I really
enjoyed reading about each one of them and their personality. I'm sorry about
Paris's brother, big hugs to you. I can see that little Princess is helping heal
your heart, she's just darling, little energizer bunny. I hope to see more of
your crew, thanks again for sharing! :)

I completely forgot to ask...where did you get that wheelchair? Did you make it?

the wheelchair is called a quad, and it came from K-9 carts. all the top straps, bed she is on, and all the pink, I put on. it was just black and metal. had to make it girly.
