my feeding tubes and cocoa

Cocoa has decided that my feeding tubes are fun to step on while I am in bed on back. I don't want to yell at him for stepping on them, so what is best way to handle this situation? I do have protection on the tubes from him, but that doesn't care of pokey legs of my baby.

PS If picture is needed, I can take one, but I don't want to gross you all out with feeding tubes and my chi cocoa

If he's stepping on them on the floor, could you raise them somehow?
If he's stepping on them in bed I'm unsure.
We have a nurse here who is also a chi mom. I bet she can think of something.
