Hello. I thought maybe someone could help me out with this. We finally got our little girl yesterday. She was born July 11, 2005. I thought we had a name for her, Carrie, but my husband isn't crazy about it. Ralphie's name fits him so perfectly and we want a name to fit our new little girl. My husband likes Meadow, but I'm not too sure. Any suggestions you can give would be very much appreciated. Thanks!!

If you are like me, you will aboslutely NOT want a name that is common or already taken... I had tons of animals in my life and most of the time they had their name from something that happened that made me think of the name.

My 2 cats: 1st one... Was name when I heard him purr SO loud, I thought "wow a motor sound"... and then I thought motor -> Nova SS (car I like)... oh! Nova! And he was named.

My 2nd cat was found in the parking of Montreal's Casino. I therefor named him Caz.

My rat's name was Mr.Sleeve, since instead of hanging on the shoulder like most rats do, he was alyays fiding my sleeve hole and going to hang out there to nap.

Also, my internet nick, elka... I did not even know it was a real life name until I was told by people it existed lately. How I came up with it was saying (in french, I am french speaking) the letter L and K together. It literally does (phonetically) elka.

So I suggest you go by her temper, something she does a lot, or what she looks like, or simply put together sounds that come up in your head when you think of it.

I would call her Beige. It's her color, and it also sounds lovely.

*hugs* and good luck figuring it out, keep us informed!!

I have a tan & white female Chi named Piper. She has lots of energy so when I tell people her name they often think I'm saying "hyper". She also has a ton of nicknames...pie, pumpkin pie, pipes, peanut, etc.
