I have a question for you multiple Chi owners. My boys are neutered and I was wondering how bringing an intact female into my pack would work? Do you think it would change my boys in any way? I have only had my boys so I am a little worried about bringing a female in especially an intact female but I am going to look at a female tomorrow and wanted to consider everything in case I were to bring her home. She is an older bitch of 15 months. I would ofcourse have her spayed as soon as I could if it worked out and I brought her home. Right now I am still just toying with the idea ;-)

I have 7 fixed males and right now, 2 intact females. No problems at all unless they go in heat. Then they can get a little stupid. But just regular living together, no problems. Every once and a while, Smoke gets a little possesive of Twiggy, but he also has some brain damage, so he's special. The others couldn't care less.

I've had two neutered males, min pin and rottie, along with LeStat who is entire and the entire jrt bitch for over a year now.
I find that there can be some 'attitude' from the jrt bitch at times, even when not in season, this could be due to her breed though.
The boys weren't any problem when she was in season though, or not too bad, the only ones who showed any attention were the two neutered boys. LeStat showed no interest at all.
There were no fights at all just the boys thought they 'could pretend' to be entire at times.
To be honest neutering the bitch would be best as soon as it was old enough and that would eliminate all issues I should think.

Thanks everyone. Again I am just toying with the idea. I have not seen her or her environment in person. She is supposedly super, super tiny.

My boys are such loves and love each other at 5 1/2 and 8 yrs of age. They love me and they are so good natured. They are not big barkers and they cuddle together and on me so I would so hate to mess that up. I would like to add a girl at some time but I always chicken out, LOL! Adding an older female makes me even more nervous but I figure when it is meant to be I will just know it.

My female is intact and my mom's male is neutered. He just sniffs around. She isn't really friendly anyway, but when she went into heat it was all I could to keep her from biting him. I really had to watch cause his nose was constantly sniffing her, and she keep putting her butt in his face.
