new baby hit head

My 7 week old puppy was playing with another dog today and acccidentally ran into a table and wacked her head. She start squeeling and crying. I felt so bad but once I picked her up she acted fine. She did the same thing again later. She is acting normal but I'm worried with being so young it could do some damage. I am a new chihuahua owner and she is my first dog so every little thing is worrying me and I just wanted some advice. Thanks. :?:

If its really bothering you, i'd call the vet, tell them what happened. shes still young and so small. just to be on the safe side, ya know?

chico clunks his head sometimes while playing with my kitties...i think he's got a hard head because he never cries when he does it  just keep a close eye on her so she doesnt hit her head again.

welcome to the board! :)
Awww poor thing! Hope your chi is feeling better.. Dixie used to run around so much playing with our cat that sometimes she doesnt even look and wack! She hits her head on the side of the door... But yeah, like what Chico's Mama said, if you're worried, ring your vet.
Lexi did this recently, but thankfully it wasn't enough of a blow to make her squeel, she just shook her head and ran off to play again!
If it happens a lot, it might be an idea if you remove whatever it is that she's knocking her head on for a little while. Might seem a bit over the top, but it's certainly my coffee table that Lexi bumps into and it wouldn't be missed with all the stuff that generates on it!!!

I used to have a gorgeous solid oak coffee table that I just loved. But Lily would stand under it and then leap onto the couch. Every now and then she'd misjudge and hit her noggin on the underedge of the table. I soon replaced it with a taller, smaller table. She stands next to it to leap onto the couch so it poses no hazard for silly Lily. I do miss my solid oak but what can ya do?
deano does it sometimes - he has squeeled once but when i picked him up he was soon comforted, he does do it sometimes tho but only very lightly
thanks for the advice

Thank you everyone for all your advice. Pixie is acting perfecting normal today and has no sign of any bump on her head so I guess she is okay. I'm just being an overprotective new mom! Thanks again. :)
