Hope your new member adjusted well since you posted this. I rescued my Chi from a puppy mill. She was of no use to them any longer because she would not care for her litters. She has finally know what being loved feels like. It is a great feeling knowing you have turned an innocent creature that didn't deserve the life they had into being part of a family!
