Hi everyone. I'm so excited I'm gettin my new baby chihuahua in 6 weeks when he's ready to come home I've never owned a chihuahua before I have a Lhasa apso also and was wondering if anybody could give me any advice on what to expect? Xxx

how are you finding it? they are just adorable., do you have any other dogs? ive read on a lot of sited they dont get on very well with other dogs but as i'm getting him as a puppy i dont see why my lhasa and him wont get along.

Hi & welcome. It's very true that Chis adore their own kind and you can have any number of them all cohabitating happily. Not always the case with other breeds but, as you say, being a puppy & being 2nd in the home he should be ok growing up with your LA. Main thing is to make sure they're both neutered, testosterone is what will give rise to fights - same as 2 legged males really - "Rid the world of testosterone & you rid it of ALL evils" is my favorite catchcry

Haha so true. My Lhasa gets on with any dog he's so laid back. We used to have a boxer and they got on great he just accepts everything doesn't even bother with the rabbit hopping around the living room haha. I think he's lonely though he just sleeps all day he reminds me of a cat. So it's just up to the chihuahua basically.. how many dogs do you have? Xx

I have 2 chis from the same litter since more than a week now they are very young (10weeks 2days). They are adorable I just love them!! Welcome to the forum. That picture is so cute and sweet <3

I have 4 Chi's, I only wanted one but one is just never enough. I basically bought 1 a week for 4 weeks lmao. I also have 2 x Mastiff/Ridgeback X's that were rescued from pig hunters as puppies, so I have "a few" fur kids.

Wow that's a lot of dogs. They must all be well behaved. Are chihuahuas a lot different from other dogs? Everyone seems to have more than 1 so there must be something special about them. I can't wait to get mine (romeo) I'm thinking of calling him lol. I can't wait xx
