Hello,

I am a new member. I have the most fantastic little fawn chi named Darcy, she is the best thing that has happened to me. I have had her since she was 8 weeks old and she is now just over 1yr old. I wanted to ask some advice regarding her mouth. As she has grown one of her top front teeth has grown slightly outwards. The vet has checked her out and says she will be fine. However, I have noticed a small lump today at the bottom of her top lip. It just looks like a pinkish lump, no blood and she is eating fine. Is this something that is common in chihuahua's or in dogs generally?

Thank you
xxxx

Your chi is adorable, welcome to the forum. :) Can't say about the lump, I've never seen one like that before. I'm sure it's something simple though, I'd have your vet take a look.

I'd just keep an eye on it and if it causes her any discomcomfort or doesn't go away in about a week, I'd probably have a vet look at it.
