:wave: Hi I am new to this list. I live in Missouri, USA. I lost my pet of 13 years last Aug (not a chi) & now need a new baby in my life. I want a chi so bad. I am having a lot of trouble finding one near me. I want to see & interact with my new puppy before I buy. I don't want to ship. I have been doing a LOT of research. I have found 1 breeder that I think I would like her puppies but she will not have one (that I can afford) until June or July. I don't think I can wait that long. Can anyone help me find my baby? I definitely want a "cuddle bug", a pet, one that is content to site in my lap & go everywhere with me. I do prefer a female & would like a short coat. I have no intention of breeding or showing so I don't want to pay a lot. I have shown dogs in the past. (Dobes) We are in our 60's & don't have any young children, ours or grandkids. I have looked at so many sites yet have not found "the one" for me. I have also looked & keep looking at rescue sites. I don't have a problem with that. If any one can give me any other sites to look at or suggestions I would so much appreciate it. Thank you
