So, has anyone played this yet? My fiance bought the Chihuahua Edition for me today and it's so cute! I sit my DS on my desk and Josie just watches me calling this little dog and kinda tilts her head to the side. She's amazed by it and pouts whenever I turn it off. It really is too cute and if you see it on display in any department stores, stop by and play it!

It really is. You get to go into the Kennel, pick out your breed, your pup, then you name it and use the microphone to call it, teach it commands, etc. You can make it chase its tail and all sorts of things. The Wireless on the DS itself lets you interact with other players, which is neat for my fiance and I since he got the Dachshund Edition. Our virtual pups can play and interact and all that. It's kind of like a Tamagotchi (if you remember those) except the pup never grows older or dies. To earn money, you enter your pup in championship tournaments and things like that. I'm having a blast with it!

oh my god, those tomogochi (sp?) things are nuts. I had seriously like 20 of them. I was in 5th grade when they were the craze and i had every different kind you could possibly get. the nano baby, and all the other brands lol. I loved those things, i am gonna look into the nintendog thing a little more, i reallllly want one!!!

Yep, we've been playing it for the past couple of days. It really is cute. I wish all those chis were real! :D

The game is actually my daughter's and she named her pup Angel so now whenever she is talking to her game puppy, the REAL Angel comes running and is all confused as to why people keep calling her. LOL

The training is fun. We are working on "beg" and "jump" right now. I wasn't sure what to expect from the game at first but it really is fun to play. :)

computer pets

My daughter has one we got about 2 years ago on her laptop computer. It is virtual cats and virtual dogs and it is unreal all the detail. She can pick her on breed and then takes care of them and watches them grow. They have little accidents and can have quite the temperment and some always get in trouble

LOL. I took my younger sister to get the game and of course she got the chihuahua and friends version. She also named the puppy in her game Harley. So when she is talking to the game, Harley thinks she is talking to him. When he first heard the dogs in the game bark, he started to turn his head and then look out the window. I think it is a cute game.

my boyfriend got me the nintendo ds and the nintendogs chi version game for my birthday. it is really cute! ive gotten pretty far in it. i have 2 chis and a boxer...you have to compete in competions (agility, obedience, and disc competions) to win money to buy food and toys and to buy your dogs. they do have different colors but only a few. you can also win dogs by getting trainer points (each addition comes with certain dogs). the chihuahua version comes with chis, cavaliers, boxers, yorkies, german shepards, and shelties. But you can win other breeds (ive only seen a min pin so far). its cute once you get into it but the beginning is sort of slow. you can buy houses, go on walks, and give them baths. its good for rainy days thats for sure
