Hey chi lovers,
I am looking to get a puppy and I'm thinking about getting a male. I would like to know if the males have little man syndrome and piss a lot to mark their territory? If so I'm going to be in the market for a female.

Thanks for the help,
John

It depends, as with all things =) Some males, if neutered in time, won't mark, others may occasionally, and others will mark wether they are neutered or not. There is no guarantee that your dog won't mark, so perhaps a female is a better choice for you. Either way you choose, as an owner, you should go into the relationship with the dog knowing full well whatever the dog does, you will love them anyways and be prepared to deal with the good and bad responsibly.

Hey all,
Thanks so much for the help. I went ahead and got a boy anyways. His name is Frank and he's an awesome little guy.
