Aww - I'm so sorry things did not work out. What happened? :(

Just don't give up - you will find that special chi for you.

Well the pup lived in PA and I guess somebody stopped buy to adopt him before we could get an interview. I feel bad because I thought if we could've just called earlier we could've gotten him but I guess it doesn't matter now. :(
So no Mickey? Aww, that's too bad but at least the little guy found a good home. Before I got my Gracie (just before Lily) I spent a good 6 months looking at dogs on petfinder. I'd see a dog, fall madly in love, fill out the application and never hear a word back.

But one really good thing emerged from all of that... I got a phone call from one of the foster moms whose application I had filled out. This was months later, when I figured all hope was lost. I ended up getting Gracie from her and after Gracie passed, I got Lily from her too.

This is my long winded way of saying, don't lose hope. There are a gazillion homeless dogs out there and one of them will be yours. If you decide to go through a breeder you might also have to wait awhile but evenutally you'll find just the right dog.

I'm sorry :( The right baby could be just around the corner

Thanks a ton! Your words made me feel so much better! I've been crying for the longest time and you just now made me realize that there are tons of other pups out there so thanks! :D
Aw, I am sorry to hear that. But Rachael's right: there are a ton of pups out there that would love to have a good mommy like you. Take those poor 70+ Chis that were rescued from that mill in IL (the post is in this section too). I'm sure any of those would be happy to come home with you, as well as others from your local shelters or a breeder. Good luck and don't ever give up hope. :)
I'm so sorry that didn't work out for you but I agree, this baby wasn't meant for you. Yours is still out there and when the time is right, you'll find it!
aww i feel so sorry for you .....this is already the third post i read about a puppy that was given away :?
i hope you find what you are looking for

kisses nat
i'm sorry  .. but maybe it wasn't meant to be, your puppy is out there.. you just have to find it, and when you do, you'll know!! good luck, keep searching, never give up.
Thanks everyone! I'm going to Adopt-A-Pet today so hopefully I'll have some fun there holding the little pups!
