:( so today we took lucky for her third round of shots. The usual vet wasn't around so this got me kinda antsy...when he administered the shot she squealed and yelp for dar life but she seemed ok after. Two hours later she's yelping in pain when we touch her. Did the vet do something wrong? I'm sooo worried.

No!! Sometimes shots can leave a bruise that hurts when touched or when she moves. She'll be o.k. I usually rub the spot gently after the shot. Just keep an eye on her for any reactions like rashes, lethargy, acting strangely. She should be just fine.

Exactly! Just monitor her and see if there is anything else out of the ordinary. If not, it's probably just pain at the injection site... Humans often get that too. It still hurts when I touch where I got my tetanus shot 5 years ago!

Odie did the same thing when getting her shots, coincidentally with her third set of puppy shots. It was the same vet the whole way through though. I think the first couple of times she was more oblivious to what was going on, too. She didn't have any pain afterwards though.
