Paris ditched Tinkerbell?

My fiance just came in with some news he said he knew I'd be happy about*. He said that he was reading some news site at work today since that's the only category he can get into that isn't blocked and he told me that it reported that Paris got rid of Tinkerbell because, according to Paris, she was being too much like a "female dog" if you get what I'm saying. I think he said he read it on a MSN news site. Just wondering if anyone else had heard about it and if you had and already posted it, I'm sorry for double-posting!

*I have nothing against Tinkerbell Hilton, I just dislike her mommy a whole lot and hate taking Josie places only to hear, "Oh, it's just like Paris Hilton!"

Poor Paris Hilton has suffered another break-up.

But the It girl-turned-reality TV star has not split with fiance Paris Latsis.

She has parted company with her pampered pooch, Tinkerbell, which has grown too large.

The chunky chihuahua has been replaced with a more handbag-sized hound called Bambi.

"She only likes them when they're very small, and Tinkerbell got too big," a friend of Paris said.

Tinkerbell went missing for a few weeks last summer, sparking a whodunit dognap saga that gripped parts of America.

The former A-list animal has now been sent to live with Hilton's mother, Kathy.

I am so angry what sort of example is she setting. now alot of young girls with chis are going to be getting rid of them if they dont weigh 2 pound - what will she do when bambi grows to be bigger than 2 pound

I mean tinkerbell was only 3 pound anyway :evil: :x

Somebody should ditch her....take all her wealth...LOL...

I seriously despise people like that, because something doesn't fit their "norm" they get rid of it. Obviously she didn't love the dog :evil:

Yeah, really. That article made it sound like the poor baby was more of a fashion accessory for her.

Thats all these poor dogs are to these people....just something to carry around.

How horrible!!!! I mean her dog was the same size as Ginger and she is tiny!!! I cant even come up with words to describe how angry this makes me :x

The woman is a complete uncaring idiot. I guess it might not have occurred to her that Tinkerbell might be attached to her and very upset But then she probably doesn't care :evil: :evil: :evil:

sad to say that i saw this comming...

kathy hilton seems nicer than paris however when it comes to tinkerbell so with some hoeps and luck tink will have a much better mamma now...

all i can say is someone should take bambi from her and never let her have a nother chi...next well know is that bambi will be too big at 2lbs and shes looking for one thatll get no bigger than 1lb...

i never liked paris or her 'my dog is a fashion acessory' attitude.

I heard about it on a paris site. It said that she ditched her for Bambi. Their source said that Paris said that Tinks was getting to big. And that stupid TexasTeacups site said that Tinks was a "bigger teacup" if they don't spay them or feed them junk they'll stay small. She's no bigger than my Lina! And she's TINY! I e-mailed the admin of the site and they posted my e-mail. I included links to puppymill sites and stuff and told them teacups aren't real and that site is bullcrap.

I really hope it's not true. I mean, if it is, she lost a fan in me cause that's a ridiculous reason to give away your dog!

Its not true. She has had Bambi for MONTHS! I have Multiple pictures of her with BOTH Tinkerbell and Bambi...when Bambi was a little tiny puppy..and now..that Bambi is the same size and Tinkerbell and she still has both dogs.

Media just likes to start things to get some attention...and its so easy to do when it envolves a celebtrity.

Im a big Fan of Paris and do a lot of research on her and Tinkerbell...and Bambi now too..and belive me..all 3 are quite happy together:

If I remember right, those pics were taken months ago with Paris, Tinks, and Bambi at the coffee bean (or where ever), so she could have done it last week and people are hearing about it this week. I hope you're right though.

Thats a good point..but Im just thinking...it says Paris ditched Tinkerbell ebcasue she got too big..but in those last pictures, BAmbi is basically the same size as Tinkerbell.

Plus I dont think Paris would ever get rid of her especially because of how Famous Tinkerbell.

I think dutti is right - i know paris has set off this trend with tiny dogs, fashion item but surely she is attatched to her dogs just like we are - media always makes up lies, which im sure if this is not true its going to hurt paris. If this is true i am disgusted but i really dont see why she would do that! Im not a major fan but sometimes i dont believe the press and the media (even though i buy every magazine that hits the shop

On MSN website there is a little writeup about this and it says she gave Tink up not only because she was getting too big, but because she was nipping at Bambi everytime Paris picked them both up together. :roll:

cooperchi is right, tink has actulaly been getting agresive with bambi whenever paris picked them up together, and also whenever bambi tried to sit on tinks bed. tink is also now a 'woman' which has also lead to some upsets.
and yes tink is bigger than bambi, its difficult to tell in the pics but tink is i belive last i heard 1lb bigger than bambi.

and yes that arizona chi place where she got tink from is a mill and they do suggest NOT spaying and feeding under the recomended amounts of DIET/low-cal food to keep the chis small and lightweight. they have been subject of a few investigations but nothing to completion yet. thats most certainly one i REALY want to get shut down.

so tink is now officially kathy hiltons and bambi paris...
suppose it could be considered best judgment...
im just waiting for the day when the small dog trend collapses, the last thing i want to see is these little guys in shelters but i get a feeling its gonna happen...either that or youll see adds,
""...." famous teacup deerhead chihuahua now looking for new home, "...." is asking $8000 for this superstar doggy.

then ill have too many chis cause you know im gonna have to go rescue them all! lol

yep.. i agree,, all these little teenagers are gonna dump thier chi's over 3 pounds to get light weight ones.. and we will have to rescue them, mines already 4 pounds.. but he is adorable just the way he is and i wouldnt trade him for ANYTHING!!! even a super tiny 1 pound chi,

Oh, good grief - has she never heard of "trainers" or "obedience classes" or "animal behaviorists"? Lord knows she has enough money to hire her own army of trainers, etc. full-time. :roll: I really don't know what is true and what is just rumors, but this is typical spoiled brat rich kid behavior.... sigh.

I agree, how many people here have stuck with thier dog through behavior problems trying to get them worked out?? A few I know. So, if Paris would just take the time to do a little research then she wouldn't have to give Tinks to Kathy at all. And why not give Bambi to her? Tinks was there first. I just don't understand why someone doesn't tell her what she could do to stop the problem.

prsonally i think the agression was just the "reason" paris was lookgin for to trade in tink for the newer modle perminently...
why would she trade in the newer smaller younger bambi when tink was getting a little big...why bother training her when the novelty of tink wore off and bambi is still 'new and shiney'
give it a lil while, shell have another one...mabe a teacup pomchi or some other desighner mix and sooner or later bambi will be 'agressive' to that one and shell have to find bambi a new home and so the chain goes on untill paris is bored of tiny dogs and gets an afgan hound or a worse a monkey or some other exotic pet shell replace when they bite or try and chew her leg off...fingers crossed shell go with the tiger option and itll eat her before things get worse...she is UBER skinny...it wouldnt take much...hell she prolly wouldnt even be a snack for a tiger...
