Beau pees when he's excited it can be the tiniest thing such as smelling the cat or saying hi to someone Baby does this too but bc beaus a boy it squirts everywhere today he was in my lap sniffed the cat and soaked my leg he's tiny dont know if a belly band would work? I'd literally have to make one the size of a bandaid lol his peepee is the size of my finger nail

No really though it's very annoying with baby if we ignore her she doesn't squirt

Ps he's 13 weeks 3 days old now and weighs 1 lb 14 oz

I think Fenrir does it too. Not as often as you are mentioning but I am pretty certain they are not 'proper' pees - he doesn't squat his bum down to do them, and there is only a tiny bit of pee as opposed to the flood he'd do with a normal pee. I guess it might stop for them as they get older and have better bladder control.

Baby is 5 and still does it but it's just dribbles if you went to pick her up and she had a full bladder she would release the whole thing I don't touch her or talk to her for at least 20 mins when I get home.

Beau dribbles a lot but last night he peed all over like a hose hes so hyper and is a kiss a holic he could kiss for hours without stopping lol

I hope he grows out of it or it stops when he's neutered

I swear this is why I did not want a boy hahaha! he still fits in my hand soe he'll be sitting in my hand then pee all over it it's so annoying and it's not just when he first sees me it's whenever, I screech and make baby voices but what the guf you'd think after sleeping over for a night the next morning he wouldn't pee when I talked to him!

I really need to update pics of him I was away for 8 days in miami and have just been a sloth ever since trying to get used to the cold!

Bailey did this (boy)...probably for his first year  He did out grow it :hello1: its call submissive urination. I just avoided anything that caused him to do it. Like when I first came home....I would ignore him until the excitement wore off. I also instructed new visitors to do the same. Hopefully you baby will outgrow it too as it is very annoying.

Oh forgot to mention....when we got Bailey I didnt want a boy either. But he was so cute and the breeder only had boys. The urination thing was upsetting but thank goodness he did get over it. Now....I will always have at least 1 boy in my pack. He adds so much playfulness to my crew. Im really glad that I did get him....no regrets :D

My brother's shephard mix pees when she gets excited, though it's only if we have new visitors, as in if she's never met them before, then she pees herself. And she's six now.

Hopefully, yours will just outgrow it and it'll become something he does like, only if you guys have visitors, so then you could just put him outside and introduce the visitor to him there. The cat thing, I don't know what to say, though. I have never had a cat in the first place.

Charlie did it when he was a puppy too, now only does it if he sees someone he hasn't seen for a long time and is really excited, so very rare now.
