Hi everybody!
Haven't been on here in ages. My life has been so busy with work and everything. I need some help though.
Bambi will be one on the 28th of this month. Just recently I spotted a small bump above her front leg. I guess you can say below her neck around the shoulder. I took her into the vet and he didn't seem to worried about it. Just because, it is not attached to the body. He thinks it is just a fatty build up. If you squeeze it or touch it she is in no pain what so ever.
However she has started lossing some fur. On top of her head around the front of the ears. Also Around the joints going up her legs. She has no hair on the belly and chest but she has been like that since birth.
She is still very active, hyper, loves to play, is eating normal, poo is solid and normal color and her pee is normal
I'm wondering if anybody else's chi has had this happen to them.
I'm started to get really worried, and a vet trip might have to be made.
Any help or adive would be great.

One of my rotties used to have those fatty tumors. They never bothered him. But if you are worried about it, I would take her to a different vet and get a second opinion.

I would seriously be more worried about the hair loss. Could be mange starting or some type of allergy. At the least I would get a skin scraping of those areas done. Mange doesn't always show up on the first scraping. Keep an eye on those areas to see if their getting bigger or new ones are showing up, if so, take her in for sure.

Try not to worry about the lump. Both of my big dogs have those fatty lumps, and I think vets are very used to them and know what they are looking for. IF she started limping, I would go directly to the vet though. Since you have had the lump checked out (good for you!), it's likely nothing.

But, since you are going to the vet anyway for the hair loss (I would if I were you), have her checked from head to toes! Good luck! I'm sure she will be fine!

take a warm compress and 3 times a day massage the lump through the warm compress, if its a pussy build up this will help break down the puss and reabsorb it making the lump go away, after a month of doing this if its still not gone make a trip to the vets and request a needle aspiration (they will put a needle into the lump and draw out some some cells/puss and check for bad cells that could be cancer) if the aspiration comes back negative its a fatty tumor and not harmfull, if it comes back positive they will do a biposy.

what colour is your little girl?
hairloss like that is common in blue and chocolates and is colour related alopecia, however if shes not a dilute id have your vet do a skin scrape and a blood test on her just to see if you can find a reason for the additional hairloss.
if it is alopecia its nothing to be worried about, its unfortunatly just one of those genetic things that can happen in blues and chocolates (and merles)
if its mange (another liekyhood for hairloss) then youll need medicated baths to kill the parisite but its 100% treatable! the other thing that can cause hairloss are kidney and liver problems so if the skin scrape comes back negative a blood test should be odne just in case!

Honestly in all that, i wouldnt worry too much about aything, chis are a generally healthy breed, and being shes not even a year old yet, its most likely that the lump is just a pussy absess (especially since its on the neck) and will go away with some warmth and massage.
