my tyke has a superman costume and he loves getting dressed up think it just depends on if your chi wants to or not im sure you will be able to tell by the way he reacts

Thanks for the tip! Do you know what sizes it would take for a short-haired chi at four months? Zero, 1, 2, or 3? With healthy diet and exercise!

i know my jake is a long coat and he is 8 inch not sure what a smooth would be

he may get frightened seeing all the people dressed up. my pit hated that time of the year. even from a puppy, he was scared! so don't be upset if your plans get changed and you have to end up taking a frightened ball of shivers home for some cuddling. as far as the sizes go, i'm horrible at that. all of chiwi's clothes don't fit her too well....

i just put my chi's in coats and they wouldn't move anymore haha handy to take pics :wink:

Not sure what you mean by the sizes - 0, 1, 2, etc.

If you are looking at an on-line site, they should give you the measurements for each size in inches. That's how you need to determine the size you need. Measure your chi around the neck, chest area, and down the back from base of tail to neck. Remember to allow for growth room between now and Halloween. If it were me, I would wait a couple of months to order it. It's difficult to know how much your chi will grow in the next 2 to 3 months.

I wouldwait until you get him and have a rough idea of size etc , plus he isnt even born yet and you dont know if the bitch is even pregnant - she may end up only having one girl or something - I just dont want you too be dissappointed as you seem so excited etc, what size in weight is Mom and dad that is usually a good indicator :wave: , also how old will the dog be when you take it out if it is only a puppy it might just be too scared too go trick or treating etc due to all the noise etc :wave:

:wink: If your friend's breeding his dogs this week or last (sorry, I forgot when it was) your pup will not be 4 months he will be 2 at the most and barely able to walk. It is great that you're excited but don't get ahead of yourself :wink: think about your pup's health first. At 8 weeks (2 months) he shouldn't even be allowed outside. :wink:

P.S. Please don't post HELP in big letters...you scared the @#$^ out of me..I thought something bad was going on..and then realized it was a clothes question..lol sorry, JMO :wink:
