We had Carlos nuetered last Tuesday. Ever since the surgery he has had an erection. We have taken him back to the vet everyday. The vet has never seen this before, but assures us he is okay. Has anyone ever heard of this? Carlos will run around and play, but it does seem to bother him at times.

by erection do you mean his pink thang is hanging out ?

if it only happened after the neuter I would go to a different vet and explain the situation and get a 2nd opinion :wave:

If the vet's never seen it, how can he be so sure it's okay??? I'd get a second opinion. I'm glad it's not bothering your boy too much but geez, that can't be a good thing. :?

Thanks for the replies. We are just concerned because it hasen't gone away. He has an appointment today at another vets office. I'll keep you posted. Have a great day!!
