To anyone that's feeding pork, do you have a preference? I bought both tonight (I add in one new protein source every week until he's completely detoxed, and we're on pork week :p Beef heart is next week!), but I'm not sure if one is better. The pork ribs are enhanced with a 12% salt/water solution, which is upsetting, but it's the best I could do. I was told on another forum that the neck bones can be dangerous because they are oddly shaped.

Any opinions?

I've never done pork necks but I know some people that do. I wouldn't think they would be a problem at all. I personally wouldn't feed enhanced meats. Try to keep sodium level under 100mg per 4 ounce serving, otherwise you can have itching and/or loose stools.

I have done pork ribs and they were tolerated just fine.

I haven't fed pork ribs but a do feed my Audrey pork neck. They are pretty big and audrey is a slow chewer. So the shape doesn't concern me. She really likes the pork necks.
