I thought it'd be nice to hear some other members precious moments with their chi/s.

Share as many as you like.

Moments with your chi/s you'll never forget, whether they be funny, sweet, etc.

Pics would be good too if you have them!

I'll just share 3 for now, will be back later.

1)
The first time I got D to lie down on command. I had been trying for ages, and mum was in the bath so I thought I'd try again without anyone around to distract her. She finally lay down when I said and I was so happy. Mum could hear my excited squeals of praise, lol. When she came back in, D was almost an expert xD.

2)
The day we went to see Daisy at the breeders, she was still only 3 weeks old. I was holding her, and she was biting my fingers, but since she had no teeth yet, I just had her warm gums mouthing me. It was so sweet.

When my nan was holding her, she did a mahoosive yawn and her mouth accidently closed around my nans thumb, gumming her as well.

I'll always remember that gummy bite, it was adorable. She never gummed me again either because she had her teeth when I picked her up xD

- MAHOOSIVE yawn :D

3)
D being spayed was the worst morning of my life. When we got the call to say she was okay, I cried :) When I went to pick her up, I couldn't wait to have her back. But the vets decided to give her another shot of pain relief, so her squeals of pain when they did it broke my heart. But when she saw me, the look on her face, and leaping out of the vets arms towards me made me so happy <3

Maggie was a VERY picky eater as a baby!We literally begged her to eat.I would have to cook her fresh chicken & rice EVERYDAY(she dint think she could eat left overs)any way,my husband would come home and get down to her plate and pretend he was eating her food so she'd eat.It was hilarious!I only regret not getting pics of this .lol

After Midgie was born to emergency C-section, my brother had to watch her for 2 weeks while I was in the hospital having emergency c-section with twins. Missing her for those 2 weeks was hard. Seeing her every minute of every day is a precious moment for me as I know her time is so short in dog's years!! Love my chi!!

Mylo makes me proud all the time being intelligent and so well behaved. He cut my leg with he claws so he tried to lick my wounds! The first time I came back to my sisters house to pick him up and he went crazy with excitement when he saw me.

I always remember a time with my first Chi Poppy. My other dog had gotten out and gone missing. I was a child at the time (8 or under) and I was sat on th floor crying. Poppy came over and jumped in my lap and started trying to comfort me.

I have had Lady (4 years old) only 3 months but the cutest thing was when I was in the park and doing the fitness par course (where you do an exercise station and then run to another station). There was a balance beam station and I walked across the beam and Lady quickly followed (low beam). At another station there were multiple parallel railroad ties. The goal of the station was to jump over them continously using a two feet to feet pattern. I jumped over them and Lady followed. Plus she loved running from one station to the next. Definitely a precious moment in the park.....my furry fitness buddy.

This is a great thread idea:p

Here are mine:

Just the best: My husband giving me our first chihuahua Munchkin for my 31st birthday. It was love at 1st sight.

How in touch chihuahuas are with their owners: Our 1st chihuahua Munchkin saved my husband's life...when he passed out from an undiagnosed Heart and Lung condition while I was at work. He has been passed out for quite some time in our hallway apparently and was awaken by Munchkin licking his face and pawing at him. My husband was able to wake up enough to crawl to the living room phone and call me. I was then able to call my neighbors who were able to go help him, call an ambulance and get me from work. *Not too long ago this happened again, but this time it was Jasper and Moose who alerted me that something was wrong with my husband early 1 morning. He has passed out again and the dogs not only stayed right with him ,but barked and barked as loud as they could until I awoke and went to see what had happened.

Bittersweet moment: The day we met our sweet Hannah....she became the light of our lives and our home then the day she passed ...leaving us with the most beautiful memories we could ever ask for. She was special in every way possible and what she gave us will be forever cherished in our hearts.

Cutest thing ever: All of the things my chis have ever done...rather they were naughty things or not.

Beautiful moment: Having the honor of delivering our new baby girl Ginger on June 4th,2012. It is a moment I will never forget as long as I live.

Love this thread!! I've been "awww-ing" at everyones stories!!

Kahlua showers me with precious moments each day.. in the morning, she crawls out from under the covers, tail a wagging, to lay down on my chest and "wash" my face. (Yes I re-wash LOL.) She just takes good care of her momma, I think it's sweet!! When she's done, she'll just lay her face on my cheek; I rub her ears and when I do that she lets out a huge sigh. That's every morning; haha... then throughout the day, there's many instances of "bear showing" of her beloved vintage Snuggle bear. At the end of the day, the moment my head hits the pillow, she runs up, nudges the blanket by my face to which I lift it up and she burrows into "her spot" either beside my tummy or behind my knees if I fall asleep in fetal position. She is truly my heart dog; and I cannot imagine going a day without her.

I adopted 3 year old Oscar a few weeks ago and every day he manages to melt my heart. A few days after I first got him, I left him at home for about and hour and when I got home he followed me Everywhere for the rest of the evening..shower included! Can't imagine life without my little furry man.
