i have an 8 month old female chihuhua who is spayed, a 17 year old shepard husky mix who is also spayed. I recently brought home 2 more chihuhua puppies about 9 weeks old, both males from the same litter. they are also from the same mother as the first pup. Everything is pretty good. the only problem is that the 8 month old has started snapping at the older dog. She doesn't show any agression to the puppies, just plays a little rough at times. I figure this will change in time as they get bigger. The only thing i see that I don't like is that she is trying the dominence humping on one of them. and yes it is the male that i figure is the alpa. Any advice on how to proceed with getting everyone to get along ?

I'd make sure the husky doesn't have to put up with the puppies. Does he have a safe place he can go, that the puppies won't bother him?
As for the humping etc behavior I'd let them all work it out. Unless there is fighting, then I leave them alone.
