Would the puppy on the right in this picture, end up like the adult in the 2nd picture? Or would the puppy get darker?

One of my favourite colours is the adult dog colour, so I want to understand what to look for in a puppy.

Mmmmmm well Rocky is a pretty similar colour, he really hasn't changed much at all, his body and his tail has actually lightened up a little but the skin, on his belly and his lips and nose have darkened.

BTW this is my fave colour of chi too

Here is Rocky at 8 weeks and the bottom pic is now, you can see his body has actually lightened up a fair bit!

Oakley was a very light cream as a puppy...

The puppy you are asking about does not look like it has any black sabling so it is unlikely to get significantly darker -- or lighter, at this point

Maya was similar in coloring and went a great deal darker; turning more red with white. It's funny though because it happens so gradually that you don't really notice. Peach hasn't changed much, if at all, being a light taupe color. (white/blue fawn)
