Chanel's 1st birthday is coming up, and I've been reminiscing about her puppy
days. I've been looking at some pictures and videos, and came across this
adorable one. Chanel was just a little baby girl...where does the time go?!

Carrie, thank you. I missed a few days from being ill, and I feel like I missed
out. Please pardon my million videos, I just love sharing my happiness with you
guys, my dogs are my happiness. In that "papa kissing" video Chanel was teething
so she would chew on anything and everything, the little raccoon was just one
of many toys that did not live too long, lol.

No, I had not seen it before - she does look like a baby seal! She was truly a beautiful baby!

You know, the last two dogs we had lived for 14 and 12 years and I learned how fleeting that adorable puppy stage is so I that our took the time to enjoy Taz and Charlie's puppyhood. It goes by so quickly!

Terri, I know how special that puppy time is, so this time with Chanel I tried
oh so very hard to enjoy every single moment, yet it still flew right by...feels like
it was only yesterday that she was chasing my bare feet, biting at my toes, haha.
I love watching her grow as well, and enjoy seeing the changes in her behavior,
she is getting brighter with each day, and with each day more loyal, more
understanding. Just her presence is healing to me, just seeing her be herself
puts a smile on my face. She is more than just a pup now, she's my best friend.

It's incredible really the impact our dogs can have on our mental and physical well being.
