Raising Money for London's Surgery

So I'm not sure if this is allowed or not, if it's not, I'm sorry and you can delete this accordingly.

I posted a month or so ago about my baby girl's leg having problems. The first vet was incompetent and told me it was absolutely NOT luxating patella and I finally managed to get her to a second vet who told me it was and showed me exactly how it was affecting her- he was much more knowledgeable.

Unfortunately, now I need the money for her surgery. She is the love of my life and we have grown so fond of each other, and I want to get this problem fixed sooner rather than later. But as a poor college student who didn't plan for medical expenses like this (her pet insurance will not cover a pre-existing condition), I am unable to come up with the money straight away.

I have set up a (removed) websiteto try and raise some money for her. If you, or anyone you know, could help me even in the littlest way, I would forever appreciate it. I have always planned to donate money to pet charities (and dream of starting one of my own some day) but without a job yet and with a year left in school, I don't have the money to do so.

Thank you so much for your help and support.

PS- I contacted the breeder I got her from to tell her not to breed the pair anymore (as London has had this obvious defect since birth) and she has not responded.

I don't think you are allowed to ask for donations on CP, but either way I wish you the best of luck. Can you take out a small loan from your bank for it?
Or maybe apply for a care credit card? I have no idea what the rules are regarding asking for donations- but I'm a poor college kid so I have a care credit card for possible vet emergencies. Good luck to you and London, whatever happens.

Maybe a student line of credit? I'm in Canada so I'm not sure what's available to you there. My student line of credit is great because I pay interest on it monthly, so the amount never gets higher and I don't have to start paying on it until I'm totally done school.
I'm so sorry to hear that London has LP, search through the forum and you will find a load of advice on LP and dogs having the surgery.

I'm sorry but fundraising is absoloutely not allowed on the forum.
