Reba's turn to get spayed - yikes!

Poor little Reba - I called the vet's today to find out what their schedules were like. There are 2 vets in this clinic, and I decided I wanted one of them to do it and not the other. In the course of the conversation, I found out that the vet I wanted to do it was the only one in this week and had an opening tomorrow morning, so I grabbed it. My daughter is worried- it's the first night she and Reba have spent apart. I had to take her in tonite because we leave for work about 5:30 am. So, I had to pay extra for the isoflurane anesthesia and the blood work to make sure her liver and kidney function will tolerate the anesthesia well and I am also having her microchipped. So, she is a whopping 4.4 lbs going in. We will be keeping our fingers crossed all goes well and we can bring her home tomorrow.
